What has IAMMETER been up to recently?
October is almost over, and IAMMETER hasn’t posted any updates yet. This is because we have been focusing on some exciting projects.
1. WPC3700
WPC3700 is a controller that can linearly control the power consumption of resistive loads. Users can adjust the heater's power in real-time (via webpage settings or through API control).
WPC3700 can be integrated with IAMMETER meters to form an automated control loop system, adjusting the heater's power in real-time according to the grid feed-in power.
Additionally, WPC3700 now supports integration with Home Assistant, enabling users to directly use MQTT discovery to find and control WPC3700 in HA.
If you have a solar system and your feed-in tariff is significantly lower than your consumption tariff, this device could help you save a lot on electricity bills.
How the "Energy Cost Reduction Kit" works: How "Energy Cost Reduction Kit" works
This product will officially launch at the end of October.
We are offering several discounted kits for our existing customers. For more details, please see Save the Electricity bill of your boiler Heater.
2. Meter Firmware Upgrade
The latest firmware for our meters is also being tested and should be available soon.
This new firmware is applicable to all IAMMETER products and supports Home Assistant's "MQTT discovery."
After this, integrating IAMMETER products into Home Assistant will be as simple as clicking a button.
3. EFSS
In recent months, IAMMETER has also developed an interesting tool system called EFSS, which helps users analyze their electricity bills and assess the benefits of energy storage systems (before installation).
