IAMMETER Energy Meters Now Support Siemens Insight Hub
IAMMETER energy meters can now connect to Siemens Insight Hub. For users who want to send on-site electrical data to an industrial platform, energy management platform, or digital operations system, this means IAMMETER meters can be used not only for local monitoring and IAMMETER Cloud, but also for integration with Siemens Insight Hub and similar third-party platforms.
Based on this integration example, IAMMETER energy meters can upload real-time electrical data to Insight Hub through MQTT/MQTTS. The solution supports CA certificate upload and mutual authentication, making it suitable for projects that require secure remote data collection, centralized analysis, and platform-level energy data management. Whether the application uses a single-phase or three-phase energy meter, IAMMETER provides an open and practical integration path for projects that need flexible third-party connectivity.
One important limitation should be noted: this feature is not supported by the standard firmware. To enable it, the meter must be upgraded to a special firmware version.
